Power Outage in Bengaluru from 10 AM to 4 PM on August 21, These Areas Will Be Affected

Tomorrow's outage will affect various neighborhoods as part of scheduled maintenance by BESCOM and KPTCL.

Residents of Bengaluru will experience a power outage on Wednesday, August 21, from 10 am to 4 pm due to ongoing infrastructure and maintenance projects. For the past three days, many areas in the city have been facing variations in electricity supply. Tomorrow’s outage will affect various neighborhoods as part of scheduled maintenance by Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).

The maintenance work includes infrastructure upgrades, modernisation, line maintenance, cable relocations from overhead to underground, pole relocations, RMU maintenance, tree trimming, and water supply improvements. These interruptions are typically scheduled on weekends when grid demand is lower, as many employees are off work.

  • Telephone Exchange Centre
