India Post has declared the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) 2024 results for 12 circles today, August 20, 2024. The first merit list has been issued for Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. “Results of other circles will be released shortly,” reads the official notice. Candidates who applied for the recruitment drive can check the India Post Office GDS merit list 2024 on the official website, indiapostadsonline.gov.in.
The GDS Merit list is based on marks scored in Class 10th/ Matric from approved boards. This year, this hiring campaign aims to fill 44228 Gramin Dak Sevak positions in 23 circles in the country.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Result: How to Check?
Step 1. Visit the official India Post website at indiapostgdsonline in.
Step 2. Click on the ‘GDS Online Engagement Schedule, July-2024 : List-I of Shortlisted Candidates Published’ tab on the homepage.
Step 3. Enter the password and registration number.
Step 4. Hit the submit button.
Step 5. The result will appear on the screen.
Step 6. Download and save for further use.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Result: What’s Next?
Those selected will next have to verify the following documents through the Divisional Head mentioned against their names.
–– Class 10/SSC/SSLC Original mark sheets
–– Caste Certificate (if applicable)
–– Physically handicapped certificate (if applicable)
–– 60 days Computer knowledge Trained Certificate From a recognized institute
–– Submitted application form
After the document verification process is done, candidates selected will be given appointment letters. There are two posts in Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment — Assistant Branch Postmaster and Branch Post Master. The shortlisted for the posts of Assistant Branch Postmaster will get paid between Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470. The pay scale of the branch postmaster is between Rs 12,000 and Rs 29,380. Those selected for the posts of Chowkidar will get a monthly salary of Rs 20,000.
