‘If He Wants To Live…’: Salman Khan Gets Death Threat As Mumbai Traffic Police Receives Rs 5 Cr Extortion Message

Mumbai Traffic Police received on a threat WhatsApp message in which Rs 5 crore was demanded from actor Salman Khan

Two threatening messages were received on the WhatsApp number of Mumbai Traffic Police, in which Rs 5 crore was demanded from actor Salman Khan. The messages warned that if Salman failed to pay, his fate would be worse than that of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was recently murdered. As per sources, the offence has been registered with Worli Police Station and an investigation has been launched in the matter.

The Mumbai Police received the threat messages on Thursday between 12:30 pm and 1:45 pm, sources reported, adding, the number from which the threat came was from India. It was learnt that the messages were deleted later on.

According to Mumbai Police, the sender claimed, “Don’t take it lightly, if Salman Khan wants to stay alive and wants to end the enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, then he will have to pay Rs 5 crore.”

“If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique. An investigation has been started in this matter,” the police informed.

Death Threats To Salman Khan

The Mumbai Police have launched a probe to search for the person who sent the threatening WhatsApp message. The Bollywood star has been receiving death threats since the last few months. In fact, his security has also been increased following the killing of former Maharashtra minister and leader of NCP, Baba Siddique.

Baba Siddique was shot and killed on October 12 by three individuals. Four people have been arrested in connection with Siddique’s murder so far, while others are still absconding. The connection of Lawrence Bishnoi gang directly in the murder case of Siddique is under investigation.

Earlier in April this year, two men on a bike opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra. The Mumbai Police claim that the shooters were hired by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, who had allegedly conspired to kill the actor.

The police further revealed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had planned a more extensive attack on Salman Khan and there is a threat to his life.
