Infosys Declares Interim Dividend Of Rs 21 Per Equity Share; Check Record Date

Infosys Q2 Results 2024: Infosys has declared an interim dividend of Rs 21 per equity share. Declaring the second quarter results on Thursday, the IT giant reported a 4.7 per cent rise in the September quarter net profit and raised revenue guidance after broad-based growth.

Net profit of Rs 6,506 crore in July-September was up 4.7 per cent when compared to Rs 6,212 crore earnings in the same period last year. It was 2.2 per cent higher quarter-on-year, according to a company statement.

Revenue was up 4.2 per cent at Rs 40,986 crore.

Infosys for the second consecutive quarter raised the 2024-25 fiscal year revenue guidance. It now anticipates a growth of 3.75 to 4.50 per cent in revenue in the fiscal year April 2024 to March 2025, up from 3-4 per cent band it had given in the previous quarter.

The company had in July raised the revenue guidance for the fiscal from 1-3 per cent anticipated previously.

Infosys Dividend History

Before today’s dividend announcement, the IT major had announced a final dividend of Rs 20 and a special dividend of Rs 8 per share for FY24. With this, Infosys has declared a total dividend of Rs 46 for the year. This included an interim dividend of Rs 18 per share that it announced post its second-quarter results.

Infosys has been a consistent dividend payer, data compiled from the corporate database AceEquity suggests.

The second largest IT firm declared Rs 34 per share (Rs 16.50 interim, Rs 17.50 final) in total dividend, amounting to Rs 6,844.20 crore in FY23. This was against Rs 31 per share dividend in FY22, amounting to Rs 6,309 crore and Rs 27 per share dividend in FY21, totalling Rs 5,112 crore.
