Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, or JIPMER will start accepting applications for the recruitment of faculty positions. Candidates who meet the requirements may apply online starting from October 25 at- jipmer.edu.in, the official website of JIPMER. November 21, is the deadline for applying for the positions as professors and assistant professors. The goal of this hiring campaign is to fill up 80 positions at the JIPMER campuses in Karaikal and Puducherry. While under JIPMER, Puducherry, vacancies for the professor positions are 26 and for assistant professor, it is 35. While under JIPMER, Karaikal, two posts are left for the role of professor and for assistant professor, the 17 posts are vacant.

JIPMER Recruitment 2024: Age Limit
Candidates for the Professor positions must be no older than 58 years on November 21, 2024, the closing date. As of the same closing date, the age limit for Assistant Professor posts is 50 years. Candidates from SC, ST, or OBC, who are seeking unreserved positions would not be eligible for an age relaxation.
JIPMER Faculty Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Online video conferencing and in-person interviews will be part of the selection process. The JIPMER Karaikal campus will be the place of employment for the selected individuals and they will not be permitted to request a transfer to the JIPMER Puducherry site.
