Yantra India Limited To Recruit 4039 Apprentices Across ITI And Non-ITI Categories

The YIL has released recruitment for ITI and non-ITI apprenticeships.

Yantra India Limited, located in Ambajhari, Nagpur, is set to invite online applications from Indian citizens for the engagement of the 58th batch of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and its amendments. It has released recruitment for ITI and non-ITI apprenticeships. The company has issued a short notification for 4039 vacant posts across various Ordnance Factories in different stages in India.

The application process will start soon when the online portal opens in the last week of October. Candidates must visit the official website of Yantra India Limited to move on with the process. Applicants should fill in their details, upload necessary documents and submit the application form before the closing date.

There are 1463 posts available for Non- ITI Category and 2576 posts available for Ex-ITI/ITI Category. This initiative aligns with the Government of India’s flagship program, the Skill India Mission, promoting skill development across the country.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For the Non-ITI Category, candidates must pass the class 10th examination from a recognized board and must possess a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks and a minimum of 40 per cent marks in Mathematics and Science.
  2. For the ITI Category, candidates must pass the class 10th examination from a recognised board and must possess ITI in relevant trade, NCVT/SCVT. Candidates should have a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks.

Age Limit:

The minimum age limit for the candidates applying for these posts is 14 -18 years whereas the maximum age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per the rules.

Selection Process:

The selection process for Trade Apprentices at Yantra India Limited involves a merit-based evaluation. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications, specifically their marks in the examinations. Those who will be selected will undergo a medical examination to ensure that they meet the health standards required for apprenticeship positions.

The final list of the selected candidates will be published on the official website of Yantra India Limited, providing transparency and accessibility for all applicants.
