The shooting was kicked off in Bengaluru and a special set was constructed at the HMT Watch Factory located in the Jalahalli area.
The film Toxic has already created a significant craze among the fans. Actor Yash earlier shared about the start of the shooting. Now, there is the latest update regarding the film. As per reports, the shooting that was scheduled to take place in Bengaluru has been completed. The team will now travel to Mumbai towards the end of this month.
An outdoor shoot is reportedly planned in Mumbai, during which the scenes featuring actress Kiara Advani will be filmed. The reports further suggest that some romantic scenes will also be shot.
Initially, the shooting was kicked off in Bengaluru and a special set was constructed at the HMT Watch Factory located in the Jalahalli area of the city. It was reported that actors and technicians from Hollywood have joined the team. It is being jointly produced by KVN production and Yash’s production house, Monster Mind Creations.
Although the crew has not made anything public about the film, a Pinkvilla report suggests that Yash is set to portray the role of an underworld don who was engaged in drug smuggling in the 1950s. The crew made extensive preparations before starting the shooting of the film. It was also reported, that Yash had to undergo a transformation to match with the character.
Alongside Yash, Kiara will play the role of the female lead in Toxic while popular actress Nayanthara will reportedly portray the role of Yash’s sister. The film is expected to hit the theatres on April 10, 2025. It also features popular stars like Darrell D’Silva, Akshay Oberoi, Kyle Paul and Benedict Garrett. The music will be composed by Charan Raj.
Before the start of the shooting, Yash visited multiple temples to seek blessings for his upcoming project. He reportedly visited Shri Sadashiva Rudra Surya Temple, Shri Manjunatheshwara Temple in Dharmasthala, and the Kukke Subramanya Temple in Subramanya.
Talking about the director, Geethu Mohandas has acted in numerous films before trying her hands in direction. Her directorial works include Moothon and Liar’s Dice.
