As many as eight schools received a bomb threat over email on Thursday in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, the police confirmed. In swift response to the situation, bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs were rushed to the school.
No evidence of a bomb has been found yet, said the officials.
Visuals from St. Joseph’s College in Tiruchirappalli showed the deployment of police on the premises as it was one of the schools that received the bomb threat.

This comes after the Hanumangarh railway station received a letter threatening bomb blasts at several stations and religious places in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh on October 2.
